Kenya, Africa – A Wildlife Photographer’s Fantasyland

We traveled from Nairobi, Kenya to Amboseli National Park, to Samburu Game Reserve, to Lake Nakuru then on to the Masai Mara Game Reserve to watch the famous wildebeest crossing of the Mara river (more on that in a later post). An amazing trip with so much wildlife and so many photographic opportunities that I took 12,000 images and 50 video clips. The top few follow (be sure to read the titles):

  6. I particularly loved your cheetah and zebra “reversals”. Baby baboon…adorable! Made me laugh out loud. Giraffes, lionesses and cubs amazing…your work continues to be breathtaking. However, the lions’ reproductive moment and the accompanying unfunny caption jolted me from art to national geographic in a nanosecond. From a marketing standpoint, the last image is what you’re leaving your audience with and should be your strongest, most beautiful photograph. You have so many, so I can only hope you’ll make that happen. I apologize for the directness of my comments.

  10. Hi Rich
They’re all wonderful – the giraffes are so fine – but especially – always always – your wonderful shots of animals with their young. Ya gotta magic eye for that! I think you should put them together in a book.
